Sunshine Coast Caravan Hire – Brisbane Qld

 We have just returned from 11 days holiday in the Discovery 18 ft Couples Shower Toilet van and thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. We are first time caravanners, wanting to ‘try before we buy’ and we found Steve and Judy to be full of valuable information right from the start. On arrival to pick up the van, both Steve and Judy went through everything and at times it was overwhelming the things that we had to remember but the cheat sheets & check lists that are in the van helped us to remember…it made everything very easy! The van was modern and immaculately clean with all the basics included in the van. The whole experience has definately left us wanting more of the lifestyle that caravanning can offer! We can’t recommend them enough.

We just got back from a very relaxing holiday in one of the fantastic vans from Sunshine Coast Caravan Hire. This was the first time we had ever ‘camped’ in a new van with its own shower and toilet. We have now been well and truly spoilt – in the future, we will always look for this standard in a van. Our thanks to Judy and Steve – they were easy to deal with and very accommodating to our personal needs. The van was beautifully presented, and the on-site set-up and pick-up service made our holiday much more enjoyable. We will be re-booking.

I recently hired a caravan from ‘Sunshine Coast Caravan Hire’ for a planned 7 week plus a few days trip through inland Queensland, crossing to the coast at Cooktown and returning via the coast at a leisurely pace.
My wife and I had previous caravanning experience although it was at least 20 years ago. We had arranged with Judy and Steve that they would provide the linen. No problem was the answer.

On arrival to collect the van we were delighted to see a modern, immaculately clean 17.55.5 van equipped with a toilet, shower and a large roll out awning. A real surprise that it was also fitted with a hot water system, how good is that? I should also mention the fact that it was air conditioned. There were plates, mugs, knives and forks, saucepans etc and a stock of cling wrap, foil and some basic materials eg detergent and the like on board.

A little overawed we were given a thorough run through on the operation of all the equipment and provided with a clear written checklist to follow on arrival and departure in a variety of situations. After a couple of stops we became confident enough to put aside the checklist, although we made sure that we always knew where it was.

We chose to stay at caravan parks. However the equipment in the van would have allowed us to take advantage of the many free sites that are available around the country. We saw lots of people on free sites as we travelled and Judy and Steve can identify opportunities to follow suit if you wish.

Towing the van was a breeze. With the Hayman Reece set up the van followed us obediently without swaying or demonstrating any of the other bad habits that experienced travelers talk about.
Our trip was terrific and we missed seeing so many things that we could easily do it again. When I do I will be back to see Judy and Steve as the service they offer is outstanding.

You gave us the opportunity to ‘try before we buy’. Your helpful hints and cheat sheets were fantastic and we appreciated all the little extras that you have in your van to make it easy to just move in and holiday. The shower and toilet is a must!!

Many thanks to both of you for a great holiday in your wonderful Sterling van. It really has all the ‘bells and whistles’ and it was well set up with lots of extras. The slide out lounge made it very roomy and the electric awning was so quick and easy to use. We loved the separate shower and toilet. So much more room to move. It was great to be able to try out the free camping as another option. You are both very knowledgeable and keen to help the novice. We’ll be hiring again.

A few months back we hired the Discovery Shower & Toilet van from Sunshine Coast Caravan Hire and decided to venture into the world of the ‘grey nomad’. We’re a whole heap younger but to our surprise we found there were plenty of younger people caravanning  and we met some lovely people along the way. We were in peak travel period, travelled through SA and Vic and chose the free camping option on many occasions. It gave us the freedom to see and do what we wanted, when we wanted and saved us a lot of $$s on caravan park fees.  The van was well equipped, ultra modern and came with a stack of extras. A great experience. We appreciated the ‘how to ‘ sheets that came with the van. Judy and Steve really have thought of everything.
